Final Wrap-Up for the Year!

Good Afternoon viewers,

With the continued support and influence from my Interactive Fiction class, we were given the opportunity to creatively express a research topic for our final essay submission.

This post is here to highlight the ideas surrounding the paper, as well as providing insight into the depths and origins of Interactive Fiction, itself. Over this past year, focus, for me, was specifically placed into the dissection of Ernest Cline's Ready Player One novel.

Within, you'll find an engaging story of the virtual world, and its influence on the human race. Within there are easter eggs pointing toward the early influences of InfoCom games, as well as the ideology surrounding what it means to be an Interactive Fiction piece.

The paper can be found here, and I hope you enjoy my discussion revolving around the influence of IF within various forms of media, and the engaging potential of it!
